Thank you for visiting my practice, and welcome to the beginning of a journey beyond healing, towards blooming and growth.

My therapeutic approach:
My approach
I work on a case by case basis, recognizing that each individual's experience is unique and singular.
My practice
I draw upon Psychoanalytic, Mentalization, and Transcultural approaches in my practice, relying on the therapeutic relationship.
My experience
With over 9 years of formal training and 14 years of clinical experience, I have established a solid knowledge in the field.
- I earned my five-year long Psychology degree from Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas, Venezuela, followed by a three-year resident trainee in Clinical Psychology at the CSME El Peñón psychiatric hospital, where I developed expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment in both outpatient and inpatient services ( Licensed in Venezuela as a Clinical Psychologist FVP 8265 and in process of homologación in Spain).
- Additionally, I was very fortunate to study with incredibly profound and sensitive psychoanalysts during a year-long course at the Tavistock Clinic in
London, UK. - In Madrid, I trained in Transcultural Systemic Psychotherapy, gaining knowledge about how to work with people from other cultures.
- I am passionate about my job and understand my responsibility, so I invest in my professional development, currently taking part on study groups, and clinical supervision, and training to become a Psychoanalyst at the Centro de Estudios y Aplicación al Psicoanálisis in Madrid.
The therapeutic environment
My personal experience being on the other side, working through my journey of growth as a long-term patient allows me to provide an empathetic, caring, professional, non-contaminated and supportive therapeutic environment, that is nevertheless challenging and fosters growth, becoming a witness to your process of becoming the person you want to become. My extensive clinical experience includes thousands of hours providing psychotherapy.
Clinical experience
I have maintained a private practice for 14 years and have also worked in clinical teams at Clínica Humana in Caracas and the Ellern Meade Centre for Eating Disorders in London, UK.
Teaching experience
I’ve had the privilege to share my knowledge as a college-level Psychology instructor at CIEE Madrid and as a Youth Leadership teacher for adolescents at ISSOS in St. Andrews University, UK.
Transcultural training and experience
I am dedicated to giving back to the community, working with the NGO Madrid for Refugees for over seven years, where I provide training for volunteers, conduct lectures, and lead Art Therapy workshops and Erasmus+ projects on topics such as integration, diversity, inclusion, migratory grief, trauma, resilience, and post-traumatic growth throughout Madrid and Europe.
My own multicultural background and firsthand experience of forced displacement enable me to understand the complex challenges and opportunities that migration brings, fostering growth in the face of adversity.
