Testimonials
Why trusting Laura Lupi as a psychotherapist?
I am grateful to all my patients who have trusted us their mind and shared with us their most intimate experiences. I feel privileged to have accompanied them in their processes.
I went to Laura for a very specific reason, I was finishing my PhD and needed to control my anxiety so that I could finally jump those final hurdles and take my degree. In reality however, it turned out to be such a transformative experience. My sessions with Laura have answered older questions I had always had about events that informed my life. Some of them were very painful and led me to unwise decisions in my life. With Laura I made sense of what had happened to me, but more importantly I forgave myself and am learning to be more generous and compassionate towards myself. I’m a work in progress but this I know is true, there are no words to express how grateful I am to have met Laura and to have her as my psychologist.
I found Laura at a time when it was really difficult for me to reach out for help, but I did, and I’m so thankful I did. From the start, she created a space where I could begin to explore things I had avoided for a long time.
Through our work together, she’s helped me look deeply into my childhood and understand how early experiences shape my adult relationships and patterns. She’s always been honest with me, even when I wasn’t ready to hear certain things, and those moments have been some of the most meaningful parts of the process.
I’ve learned to see how everything connects, to approach myself with more compassion, and to trust myself again.
My name is James I’m English but my partner found Laura Lupi after my first suicide attempt.
I was ALWAYS against therapy. Laura made me feel comfortable even though she could tell I wasn’t fully into the early sessions. She supported me and I soon realised nothing was off the table. Some sessions I just needed someone to listen to me and other time I just needed to listen.
It was clear I had anxiety and depression and she helped me find a professional to help me with a set of medication.
I left Spain and moved to Russia things became difficult for me again, started seeing things that were not there so she worked out a way for me to complete online sessions.
I know I always have someone to turn to if I feel myself going down a wrong path.
I recommend Laura Lupi as she literally saved my life and now I am more driven, motivated and have a sense of purpose in a World that I thought didn’t need me.
I found Laura’s information on Facebook as I really needed mental healthcare. I was in the pits of horrible postpartum OCD. She was amazing and professional from the get go as she contacted me immediately. Through our sessions she helped me discover and deal with my OCD diagnosis which I have had since a teen. She also helped guide my partner through the experience and help him understand what was happening. She is amazing at what she does and I would recommend her 100%
Laura is an excellent and highly experienced psychologist. After trying several other psychologists in Madrid, I came across a recommendation for Laura online and decided to start sessions with her. From the very first few sessions, I noticed significant improvements. She helped me manage the anxiety I was experiencing during the pandemic and with my personal relationships. Later, when I faced some personal family issues, I reached out again, and again she was incredibly supportive and effective. Laura combines knowledge with genuine care, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone seeking professional psychological support.
Laura has been my therapist, and I am forever grateful for all the support she has provided throughout this time. I can’t say enough about how kind, patient, empathetic, and professional she is. While we are not from the same country, Laura’s multicultural approach and understanding allow me to feel understood on a deeper level. It is so helpful to speak with someone who can view my thoughts and concerns from a different cultural lens and helps put things into perspective. Laura is incredibly patient and is not afraid to push you to become the best version of yourself. Change is difficult, but absolutely worth it. I couldn’t ask for a better therapist.
